This course directs the student towards an operational understanding of large single-agency and complex multiagency/multijurisdictional incident responses. Topics include fundamentals review for command and general staff, major and /or complex incident/event management, area command, and multi-agency coordination. Its objective is to explain how major incidents pose special management challenges. It will describe the circumstances in which an Area Command is established. Describe the circumstances in which Multiagency Coordination Systems are established. Use ICS to manage an incident or event.
Prerequisite: ICS-100, ICS-200 & ICS-300

Cost: This course is free of charge. The class is sponsored by UASI. UASI funds do not cover backfill, holdover, or overtime for students.
